A matter of history

Posted in Politics, Random Crap That Pisses Me Off, Stupid People with tags , , , , , , , , , , on September 30, 2009 by Steve

This letter was written by a History professor from Rhode Island , formerly a registered Democrat now registered as an Independent.__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ______
I am a student of history. Professionally , I have written 15 books in six languages, and have studied it all my life. I think there is something monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is just a banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes these exist, but they are merely single facets on a very large gemstone that is only now coming into a sharper focus.
Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it. Yes, a perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our country that has been evolving for about ten – fifteen years. The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two.
We demand and then codify into law the requirement that our banks make massive loans to people we know they can never pay back? Why?
We learn just days ago that the Federal Reserve, which has little or no real oversight by anyone, has loaned two trillion dollars (that is $2,000,000,000,000) over the past few months, but will not tell us to whom or why or disclose the terms. That is our money. Yours and mine. And that is three times the 700B we all argued about so strenuously just this past September. Who has this money? Why do they have it? Why are the terms unavailable to us? Who asked for it? Who authorized it? I thought this was a government of we the people, who loaned our powers to our elected leaders. Apparently not.
We have spent two or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our economy. Why?
We have intentionally dumbed down our schools, ignored our history, and no longer teach our founding documents, why we are exceptional, and why we are worth preserving. Students by and large cannot write, think critically, read, or articulate. Parents are not revolting, teachers are not picketing, school boards continue to back mediocrity. Why?
We have now established the precedent of protesting every close election (now violently in California over a proposition that is so controversial that it wants marriage to remain between one man and one woman. Did you ever think such a thing possible just a decade ago?). We have corrupted our sacred political process by allowing unelected judges to write laws that radically change our way of life, and then mainstream Marxist groups like ACORN and others to turn our voting system into a banana republic. To what purpose?
Now our mortgage industry is collapsing, housing prices are in free fall, major industries are failing, our banking system is on the verge of collapse, social security is nearly bankrupt, as is medicare and our entire government, our education system is worse than a joke (I teach college and know precisely what I am talking about) the list is staggering in its length, breadth, and depth. It is potentially 1929 x ten. And we are at war with an enemy we cannot name for fear of offending people of the same religion, who cannot wait to slit the throats of your children if they have the opportunity to do so.
And now we have elected a man no one knows anything about, who has never run so much as a Dairy Queen, let alone a town as big as Wasilla, Alaska. All of his associations and alliances are with real radicals in their chosen fields of employment, and everything we learn about him, drip by drip, is unsettling if not downright scary (Surely you have heard him speak about his idea to create and fund a mandatory civilian defense force stronger than our military for use inside our borders? No? Oh of course. The media would never play that for you over and over and then demand he answer it. Sarah Palins pregnant daughter and $150,000 wardrobe is more important.)
Mr. Obamas winning platform can be boiled down to one word: change.
Why?
I have never been so afraid for my country and for my children as I am now.
This man campaigned on bringing people together, something he has never, ever done in his professional life. In my assessment, Obama will divide us along philosophical lines, push us apart, and then try to realign the pieces into a new and different power structure. Change is indeed coming. And when it comes, you will never see the same nation again.
And that is only the beginning.
And I thought I would never be able to experience what the ordinary, moral German felt in the mid-1930s. In those times, the savior was a former smooth-talking rabble-rouser from the streets, about whom the average German knew next to nothing. What they did know was that he was associated with groups that shouted, shoved, and pushed around people with whom they disagreed; he edged his way onto the political stage through great oratory and promises. Economic times were tough, people were losing jobs, and he was a great speaker. And he smiled and waved a lot. And people, even newspapers, were afraid to speak out for fear that his brown shirts would bully them into submission. And then, he was duly elected to office, a full-throttled economic crisis at hand [the Great Depression]. Slowly but surely he seized the controls of government power, department by department, person by person, bureaucracy by bureaucracy. The kids joined a Youth Movement in his name, where they were taught what to think. How did he get the people on his side? He did it promising jobs to the jobless, money to the moneyless, and goodies for the military-industrial complex. He did it by indoctrinating the children, advocating gun control, health care for all, better wages, better jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the country, across Europe, and across the world.
He did it with a compliant media did you know that? And he did this all in the name of justice and . . . change. And the people surely got what they voted for.
(Look it up if you think I am exaggerating.)
Read your history books. Many people objected in 1933 and were shouted down, called names, laughed at, and made fun of. When Winston Churchill pointed out the obvious in the late 1930s while seated in the House of Lords in England (he was not yet Prime Minister), he was booed into his seat and called a crazy troublemaker. He was right, though.
Don’t forget that Germany was the most educated, cultured country in Europe. It was full of music, art, museums, hospitals, laboratories, and universities. And in less than six years ‚a shorter time span than just two terms of the U. S. presidency it was rounding up its own citizens, killing others, abrogating its laws, turning children against parents, and neighbors against neighbors. All with the best of intentions, of course. The road to Hell is paved with them.
As a practical thinker, one not overly prone to emotional decisions, I have a choice: I can either believe what the objective pieces of evidence tell me (even if they make me cringe with disgust); I can believe what history is shouting to me from across the chasm of seven decades; or I can hope I am wrong by closing my eyes, having another latte, and ignoring what is transpiring around me.
Some people scoff at me, others laugh, or think I am foolish, naive, or both. Perhaps I am. But I have never been afraid to look people in the eye and tell them exactly what I believe and why I believe it.
I pray I am wrong. I do not think I am.
Best regards
tps

If you honestly need any more documentation go to google the sheer number of links annoy me and those of you who believe in the cause dont give a goddamn as it is. You will ignore these signs and warnings. You will ignore the fact of that matter. The big O doesnt give a flying fuck about the constitution, our rights, our beliefs, our traditions, and our freedom.

In his UN speech noted international scumbag Qadhafi of the “paradise” and center of human rights that is Libya said “he’d be satisfied if Obama as president forever” and other international slime has said similar thing endorsing O, applauding him and basically giving him the scumbag “two thumbs up” we as sensible human beings need to start asking ourselves is the course he’s proposing really a good idea? Obama has started at the top of the bill of rights, beating down our right to free speech, not exactly with a federal jack boot more a federal medical invoice but the results are the same. Whats next? a suspension of habeas corpus to help ensure public safety in these dark times? A suspension of the second amendment, perhaps by methods like a UN treaty? His new brownshirts the CNSF patrolling the streets in force “for our safety”?

Ladies and Gentlemen I implore you, vote this bastard out of office and bother the bejesus out of your elected representatives until this SOB can’t pass a fart in the hallowed halls of our government.

However be prepared if he decides not to go.

Obamarama!

Holy shit and jesus h. tapdancing christ on a motherfucking crutch!

I tried to write that promised obamacare article, but I kept having to edit the motherfucker because shit kept happening and now it wont stop fucking happening which is ruining any and all attempts in my mind for me to keep my new series or articles even vaguely current. I mean jesus this administration is filling the sky with so many targets that I need a flak cannon or anti-aircraft battery not a shotgun. So I’m going to go full auto (see the clever tie in?) and attempt to hit as many psychotic things as possible with a paragraph or so + apiece

Obamacare:

Okay this rates alot more then one paragraph but seriously folks this is a failed plan, a horrible idea and one we can prove time and again as “fucking stupid” albeit the whole death panel thing may be going a wee bit too far but honestly it ain’t far from the truth. There’s a freakin reason that Canada has an entire service industry based around finding Canadian citizens health care in america! Hell I know a canadian citizen (one of 5 total*) and she’s got a debilitating and extremely painful disease, the socialized medicine up there isnt even handling the medicine and the docs dont have the slightest clue on new forms of treatment to attempt for her, final conclusion? she’s screwed unless she can get some help stateside.

Oh oh oh and even better! Obama wants the illegal immigrants (you know the ones stealing your jobs and sending all the money they make out of the country and benefiting off your tax money? those guys?) to get free healthcare too! and he plans to do it by the same type of stupid sweeping reform he’s becoming famous for. AMNESTY!!! YAY! Let’s give citizenship to people who need to go the hell home!

Alright that last sentenence deserves clarification so I don’t get a shit ton of hate mail calling me a racist, facist pig, imperialist swine, cousin fucking redneck sob, etc ad nauseum (the last is kinda close to the mark but I have never even hit on one of my cousins)

The illegals need to go the hell home, the argument “well they just want to improve their lives” is fucking bullshit, if they want to improve their lives they can improve mexico. These people have no respect for our nation, no interest in being part of our culture and being a true citizen of our nation. Fuckin A people the graffiti is literally on the wall, a gentleman I know in construction saw tags like “We are here for your jobs and money, white man go home” and this was on a freakin construction site, placed there by illegal construction workers, and it wasn’t even close the to border either. If you want to be american your welcome in this country that policy will (hopefully) never change, the rest of you (including the 12 million + we didn’t invite) can get out and take San Francisco with them.

The above counts for two topics for those of us following at home, using my trademark method of hitting two birds with one artillery shell.

Obama and the Internet:

In further psycho reporting from DC holy fuck can you read this shit!? http://www.newsmax.com/headlines/obama_internet_fcc/2009/09/20/262385.html?s=al&promo_code=8961-1

Yeah it starts as “Well we’re just assuming this control to help everyone, keep the information flowing freely” then it becomes “Well this kind of communication needs to be controlled or stopped for your own good” then it becomes a lock down, goverment regulation where none is needed is called “imposing on your rights and freedoms” folks and it always starts small and quiet.

In other news look for this blog to be shut down by FCC for subversive statements.

Ladies and gentlemen these are dark and troubled times and all I can do is say be prepared for the worst.

On the defensive… but on the attack

Posted in Guns, Politics with tags , , , , , , , on March 23, 2009 by Steve

So I was on sabbatical, I was taking a break, focusing on work and moving and all the insanity that comes with it but I keep running in to people who need education on my favorite subject, the one thing I believe in over all, the right of every man, woman and child to own firearms to defend themselves. their homes, their country and the rights and freedoms we are so privileged to have in this country that we are so fortunate to live in.

“A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed”
-Second amendment to the constitution

So what is that saying? Well it’s fairly simple. It’s empowering the common man with the right and the duty to own weapons for the purpose of defending their nation and their rights and freedoms. “the security of a free state” isn’t talking about being attacks by forgein nationals intent on our death and conquest. It’s talking about defending ourselves from the oppression of goverment. It’s talking about defending ourselves from any one who would enforce their will on us and strip us of our rights and freedoms. The second amendment is the guarantee for the other rights and freedoms.

Seems fairly cut and dry, so what’s the issue? what’s the problem? Well it’s interesting to note that everyone focuses on is stopping certain kinds of guns, keeping weapons out of people’s hands that seem for lack of a better term “scary”, they are scary because these tools allow the people to fight back and defend themselves and those who would oppress us don’t like that.

Those who would take our weapons away place all sorts of bans and restrictions on our right to keep and bear arms even though it fairly obviously says that those same rights shall not be infringed. They use misleading and scary terms and out right lie about things to make people think their voting to prevent crime and protect ourselves and out law enforcement officers when really we’re only hobbling ourselves and our ability to keep ourselves safe.

For example steel core ammunition also known as “cop killer” bullets has been banned in this country, the real story is that steel core bullets are no more lethal then any other bullet, and that most ammunition labeled as a “cop killer” has never harmed a law enforcement officer. This is an example of fear mongering specifically designed to cripple our ability to own guns and purchase ammunition for reasonable prices.

Then there’s something that came up in my last debate with an acquaintance of mine, the assault weapon ban, to the uneducated the assault weapons ban sounds perfectly reasonable, assault rifles are scary things that go full auto and etc right? Dead wrong the assault weapons ban is a ban on guns with a “military” appearance. It’s an ugly gun ban is what it is. The out and out of it is that it’s plain stupid, and it’s clearly unconstitutional, if you read the second amendment. The whole idea is for us to be able to keep a “well regulated militia” now if you cant be sure here’s the definitions from dictionary.com

mi⋅li⋅tia
–noun

1.     a body of citizens enrolled for military service, and called out periodically for drill but serving full time only in emergencies.
2.     a body of citizen soldiers as distinguished from professional soldiers.
3.     all able-bodied males considered by law eligible for military service.
4.     a body of citizens organized in a paramilitary group and typically regarding themselves as defenders of individual rights against the presumed interference of the federal government.

These are all correct definitions but they all have a collective point, it’s a military or paramilitary group, a group that is, according to the constitution a vital part of the freedom of our nation. So if it’s a military group that we as citizens are supposed to be purchasing weapons for, as a duty to protect our rights, our nation and our homes why is owning “military” weapons a problem? especially when all so called assault weapons are no more or less dangerous then any other gun, they just have a specific look to them. So if I spray paint my AK pink does that make it less scary? what if I put a smiley face on it? It’s not changing the fact that it’s a mid-caliber semi-automatic rifle, no more or less dangerous then the semi-auto sporting rifles of the same or larger caliber available for purchase so what’s the fuss about?

Well he’s in the white house and has been for about two weeks now, and all of you are clamoring for my thoughts on the matter like a strange mixture of small extremely loud birds and a group of lemmings going over a cliff… My thoughts of c Obama are not good, I think the guys a shill, a panty waist half wit who doesn’t have the balls to make his own damn choices. His senate record includes a massive shit ton of “undecided” votes and a fuck ton of other cases where he illustriously said one thing… then turned around and voted the other. The man supports many in my opinion unconstitutional views such as his recorded belief that fire arms should be outlawed from civilian ownership.

He is also recorded as being unpatriotic. Sitting for thing such as our pledge of allegiance and the national anthem. I may not say the pledge but I sure as hell stand up and show respect.

Obama is a sheet in the wind, a manipulable push over who only believes in two things that we can honestly prove, hope and change, two ambiguous values that mean nothing in the greater scheme of things because he never tells us what his plans for change are, and what exactly his great hope is.

I pray to my gods that I am wrong, I pray that we have not elected the wrong man in to power in to these trying times, but I think America has put her money on the wrong horse, and history will show the results. We have an unknown factor in the white house, a shifting and changing element where we need strength and stability. In these hard times of crisis we need will and strength and force of purpose. Not loose and and unknown ideals like hope. I can only hope that I’m wrong.

Bailing out… by pouring more in?

Posted in General Stuff, Politics, Random Crap That Pisses Me Off, Stupid People with tags , , , , , , , , on January 7, 2009 by Steve

From a ship design stand point what happened when the titanic went down? I’ll tell you what happened, design teams were made aware of a fatal flaw that if left unchecked could have killed many more then went down with the titanic. Now what if the titanic… just barely made it to New York City Harbor? What would the design teams have done to the “unsinkable” well if they acted like the current US Government is with the American Financial institution then they’d have installed some large floaties and a couple of very powerful sumps, then had the thing turn around and head back to Europe. This of course is opposed to the smarter, if slightly more costly in the short term solution of actually fixing the fucking problem.

From the very start a bailout is the most retarded idea in capitalism, why in the great wide world of sports would you throw good money after bad money? This company (GM, one of the banks, whatever) has proven that they suck at using money to actually you know… make more money. The whole reason they need more money in the first place is because there is a flaw in their business plan, a flaw that’s driven off customers and income. Whether that’s not having the best product and losing customers to companies with better products or not isn’t the point. The point is they can’t make money. So why in the name of god would we want to give them more money to lose?

That’s exactly what the US Government is and it’s the worst thing that can be done. The US economy needs to amputate these weak and dying limbs so it can start growing strong again, leaving these sick and cancerous lumps are only hurting the body further, and attempting to stimulate them back to life isn’t going to have any true effect.

Do the auto industry and all these other bail out targets a favor, take it out back and put the poor thing down.

Blood Feuds: The Epic Retardation Continues

Posted in Guns, Politics, Random Crap That Pisses Me Off, Stupid People with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on November 24, 2008 by Steve

AKA Dumbfucks: Murder Edition

Nothing entertains me quite like stupid people going at each other for what appears to be no sensible reason at all. It becomes even more entertaining if there was a reason but no one can remember what the fuck it was.
Those two sentances sum up why so many people watch Dr. Phil or Judge Judy or all that other trash that’s under the label “day time TV”. It’s like tuning in to a special olympics version of the roman gladitorial games. Kind of sad but funny as hell at the same time.

However transsexual rednecks who want to get their gay husband to pay child support for their child by another obviously not gay, man are not what this article is about. Nor is about obese black women who just want to know who their baby daddy is (maybe not fucking every dude on the block for coke money would simplify that problem…) No this article is about actual blood feuds where two families ala the Hatfields and McCoys or the italian mob families start killing the fuck out of each other.

I just started and I can already here people typing back furious comments “wait! wait! that shit doesn’t happen any more! no way!” Alright maybe the mob families don’t do their hits in broad daylight and the hillbillies have satellite TV to keep themselves entertained instead of unloading at each other but blood feuds continue. Fervently.

Hell the nation (err… warzone) of Somalia is organized around that. The basic family unit is the “Dyia” paying group. Dyia is blood money. Somali society is broken in two 8 massive clans and 80 trillion subclans. All the massive clans hate each other, and all the subclans that make up each clan hate 98% of all the other subclans in their clan too. Oh and did I forget to mention that individual families within the fucking subclans usually end up killing each other over some shit too?  Now they even have fucking pirate feuds! Goddamn! Holy shit! Fuck you can’t say much more then that shit… no wonder it took the goddamn marines to provide famine relief to that fucked up little nation.

On to a slightly more eurocentric local the former yugoslavia is filled with blood feuds based on family, religion and of course the ever popular “we’ll we’ve always hated those guys”.

Jumping over to south america the drug lords saw the Godfather one to many times and decided to start dispensing as much mob style justice as they could dish out. Primarily against each other for various slights real and imagined during business transactions.

This goes on and fucking on all over the goddamn world hell the asians have been having feuds as nations, clans, and individual families for millenniums. There’s family tensions from before china was goddamn china!

Sometimes I really have to wonder how we evolved to the point that we did…

Quote of the Post:

My blood cries out for the vengeance of my people’s blood, which can only be repaid with at least twice as much blood! Or maybe three times as much blood! Morality, Self-defense and the Law

Posted in Guns, Politics, Random Crap That Pisses Me Off with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on November 19, 2008 by Steve

I really dislike morality based stuff. I mean it quite honestly bugs me. Because the way everyone talks about good and evil it’s like we all have the same opinions and beliefs about morality and that it’s all black and white.
Not so in fact I would charge that there isn’t black or white at all merely shades of grey. I mean morality is specific to a person what you think and I think is different merely by the fact that we are different. Religion and Laws (sometimes even Religous Laws) take what most of us agree on being moral and make it a rule that that is good or evil. That’s why laws are different from nation to nation. I mean as a whole we’ve all come to the conclusion that certain things are “bad”. Rape, killing people, stealing other people’s stuff. That type of thing. But look! Even in that three item list there’s a pretty serious sea of grey. The “Killing People” one to get specific. What if the guy attacked me and I killed him? Is that still wrong? What if we’re soldiers on opposing sides during a war? is that still wrong? I mean really how can you tell? How can we make decisions like that. That’s the hell of the matter with the legal system when it comes to trials involving maimins, killings or what not put out by a person defending themselves. People have gone to prison for killing or hurting someone who came at them with a knife or whatever. Certaintly to rob them, possibly to rape them, kill them or kidnap them. For someone reason the victim, fighting back and attacking the agressor is a fucking bad thing.

What

The

Fuck?

I mean jesus christ if a guy comes at with a broken beer bottle and I drop kick his ass and take the bottle away I could end up with assault charges. If that guy comes back later that evening in an alley somewhere with a weapon and I pull my gun or knife and kill him trying to defend myself I will go to trial for murder. Not “might” I will go to trial and I will have to defend protecting my life, family’s lives and our property. Fuckin A there are people out there who think it’s murder if my fiancee or I put a load of 12 gauge buckshot (number 8 by the way, more pellets and no sacrifice in power) in to a bugler’s face. This man just invaded our home with the intent to rob us and possibly harm us, 10 – 1 he’s armed because there’s a good chance your retarded if you don’t have a weapon and your out invading homes and we, homeowners are the bad guys because we pumped some lead in to this son of a bitch.

Fuck

just plain

motherfucking

goddamn

fuck

I can’t write any more, I’m going to the range to unload some 38. Special in to a shillouete target. Any one intrested in staying alive in the face of attack and adversity care to join me?

Hanging, Shooting, Flogging and other reasonable punishments

Posted in Politics, Random Crap That Pisses Me Off, Stupid People with tags , , , , , , on November 7, 2008 by Steve

I honestly don’t understand what the fuss about a hanging is, sure it’s sucky but if your going to be executed why give a fuck? One of the common arguments I hear from leftists and people who appose the death penalty is that killing a scumbag who needs to be killed costs alot of money. This is not so, we make it cost alot of money. Gassing and lethal injection are extremely expensive and are notorious for not being as effective as claimed. Choking on gas, inmates being able to feel the effects of lethal injection through the sedative. Fuck if that trash isn’t going work let’s get some fucking decent caliber rifles and blow their heads off. Or if we want to go green, hang the bastards! Rope’s a reusable resource ladies and gentlemen, cause you can always tie another noose. Then there’s the nonlethal stuff, caning, flogging, spanking kids, all that wonderful shit where you inflict pain and get discipline as a result. The current system of counseling and care doesn’t really work. However you give someone five lashes across their back, I will personally bet you that the next time they go to do something criminal or stupid, those scars on their back will start throbbing and they’ll stop, think and say “fuck, better not do that again, that shit hurts”. Prison is quite honestly the same as making someone sit in the corner, yes it sucks, yes it’s boring but did any of us who got put in the corner ever really learn shit from it? I didn’t. I sure as hell learned fast when the lesson came on my father’s hand as he paddled my sorry tail. Pain teaches ladies and gentlemen. It forces you to own up and reminds you of why doing something is stupid, it’s painful to learn, but isn’t it better to learn then just stay stupid?

Quote of the Post:

Punishment is now unfashionable… because it creates moral distinctions among men, which, to the democratic mind, are odious. We prefer a meaningless collective guilt to a meaningful individual responsibility.

Throw the Bums off welfare!

Posted in Politics, Random Crap That Pisses Me Off, Stupid People with tags , , , , , , on October 21, 2008 by Steve

Welfare is an extremely touchy subject and in most circles has to be handled with kid gloves because you don’t want to seem like a callous vile human being with no heart and no compassion for your fellow man. Given I am that type of human being. I’m going to castrate this subject with a rusty spoon.
Dear bums, homeless, druggies and assorted welfare users,
Fuck you. Simple as that, fuck you and give me my money back.I gave you money, my money as well as everyone else’s money so that you, the bum, could get a job, feed yourself, and all around get back up on your feet. We’ve got programs set up to help you and they cost a ton of money too. Still day in, day out there you sit on the corner, a broken bottle or two of boonesfarm near by. We’ve given you your shot, given you a chance, now fuck off. I have no obligation to be of service, to be of aid it is all out of the goodness of my heart… as mandated by the fucking government. So this goes to congress and the executive branch, stop wasting my goddamn money. Cut the bums out and use the cash on education, paying off the national debt or buying some new tanks. Fuck better it goes to ammo or something only mildly useful like buying more paper stock to feed the massive bureaucracy that keeps our Federal Government running then throwing it down the hole of the homeless. Yes some people just need a hand up, find them and give them the money, screw the bums and from a government level screw the deserving. You want to help people? Give money to private charities their alot better at aiding the needy then the US Government ever will be. I mean come on, charities hand out money right? What does the government do? Tax us bitch that’s what. This is a demand for personal responsibility, a request to remove the tit from the mouths of the slackers, half of us wouldn’t give the bum on the corner our change, so why do we give them our tax dollars?
